LFA Labs is a small, senior team designing, building and connecting technology for businesses, homes and superyachts across Africa and Europe. We combine business software, AI and data integration with automation and AV/IT, consulting and installation. You work directly with the people delivering your project, from the first conversation through design, implementation, testing and handover.

The people behind the Lab

Llewellyn Hanekom

Llewellyn is co-founder and CTO of LFA Labs, where he combines technical direction with hands-on engineering to build software, AI solutions and connected business platforms. He takes projects from architecture and implementation through deployment and day-to-day operation. As CTO of OREYE.ai, he leads AI technology for mining, construction and industrial operations, bringing together computer vision, aerial intelligence and site data. His background includes founding Hardwire and building large-scale cryptocurrency mining and data centre infrastructure. He is also developing Llewra, an AI executive assistant for founders and operators, through LFA Labs.

Francois Coertze

Francois is a co-founder of LFA Labs and a tech enthusiast. He spent many years working on superyachts before moving into property development and construction management. His experience offshore and onshore gives him a practical understanding of how spaces, systems and people work together. At LFA Labs, he brings that perspective to technology for businesses, homes and superyachts.

Andrei Tirtirau

Andrei is a Namibia-based entrepreneur and founder of OREYE AI, focused on vision AI for mining and industrial operations. His background spans film production, sales and marketing, with partnerships at Moon Valley Films and Safara Africa. His work connects camera monitoring and aerial intelligence with practical needs on site, helping teams identify problems earlier and make better operational decisions.
